Children's Day in Mozambique is celebrated annually on June 1st, aligning with International Children's Day observed in many countries worldwide. This day is marked by festivities that emphasize children's rights, joy, and development.
We work with local communities to host a party, providing gifts to orphaned and disadvantaged children throughout the city of Maputo.
This is an occasion for children to engage in activities such as singing, dancing, reciting poems, and playing games. The celebrations serve as a joyful event for many children who come from impoverished homes.
We sponsor 300 children a year.
The school sponsorship program has grown over the last few years, from sponsoring 10 students to now sponsoring over 500 students, allowing us to support tuition, uniforms, backpacks, and school supplies.
Strong community outreach has allowed us to identify underprivileged children who would not get to go to school, and by partnering with local leaders, we can help them get these children into school.
Looking ahead, we will be expanding the program to 800 students this coming year.
You can sponsor a child for $25, helping impact their lives forever!
The primary goal is to spread joy and provide gifts to underprivileged children who often have never received a Christmas gift. We also seek to share the message of hope in Jesus Christ.
Our Christmas sponsorship ministry includes outreach events coordinated with local Pastors and neighborhoods, partnering with the community to reach the children who need it most.
We host a Christmas party in each neighborhood, sharing the story of the birth of Jesus through drama, playing games, and enjoying the festival season with the children.
We sponsor 300 children throughout the city of Maputo.
